Off to Melbourne! Which is not pronounced remotely like it is spelled, but anyway. Loved the city. I would describe it as a "modern-looking Paris". Because, all the buildings are modern, however there is a river that runs through it (like the Seine) and there are cafes, pastry shops and art everywhere. I love the lights of the buildings at night as well. We only had a few days in Melbourne so we spent them wandering the different districts. We stayed in a hostel that was nice and centrally located. On an evening stroll we went to the pier that is the home des fois to these adorable penguins, which were luckily there when we went :) Super cool city, I would be thrilled to live there.
